These Terms of Service apply to your use of the ScentedHouse website and any purchase you make from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. About us

This website is operated by ScentedHouse, PO Box 3099, Regents Park NSW 2143, Australia. You can contact us at ascentedhouse@gmail.com or through our contact page.

2. Using our website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose. You must not try to hack into, get around the security of, or otherwise disrupt our website, and you must not do anything that puts an unreasonable load on our systems.

We may suspend or end access to our website at any time, for example for maintenance or if these terms are breached.

3. Our products

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, and scent is personal, so individual impressions of a fragrance may differ.
Our Luxury Range fragrances are our own blends inspired by well-known fragrances. ScentedHouse is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the brands or fragrance houses mentioned. All brand names and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the style of scent.
Fragrance oils and room sprays are for home fragrance use only and are not for use on skin. Perfumes are for external use only. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets, avoid contact with eyes, and do a patch test before using perfume if you have sensitive skin.
Clearance and ex-display items are sold in the condition described on their product page.
Limited edition and clearance items are available while stocks last.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). ScentedHouse is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.
We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders that have already been confirmed.
Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment provider. We don't store your full card details.
Unless stated otherwise, promotions can be used once per customer, can't be combined with other offers, apply only while the offer is running and while stocks last, and can't be exchanged for cash. Free gifts can't be swapped for a different item.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy our products. We'll email you to confirm we've received it. We may cancel or refuse an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there's an obvious pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.

6. Shipping

We currently ship within Australia only. Shipping times and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Responsibility for your order passes to you once it has been delivered to the address you provided.

7. Returns and your consumer rights

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how returns work. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Free downloads

Free resources, such as our Scent Planner, are for your personal use only. You may print them for yourself, but you may not sell, share publicly or republish them.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including our name, logo, text, images and downloads, belongs to ScentedHouse or is used with permission. You may not copy or reuse it without our written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, ScentedHouse is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods or refunding the price you paid.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. If you subscribe to our emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and payments are processed securely by our payment provider. However, no transmission of data over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
